Whispering Pines Counseling, LLC ... serves to provide quality mental health counseling services to Glenwood, Iowa  and surrounding communities.

THERAPIST:  Deborah L. Pfeiffer, MSW, LISW, LMHP, CMSW

Deb is a clinical social worker and mental health practitioner with licenses in the state of Iowa and Nebraska.  She has over 15 years experience in serving clients with mental health issues of all ages and various backgrounds.  She enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.  She is available for group work.  She has experience working with challenges related to depression, anger/feelings management, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorders, grief and loss, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, sexual abuse, sexual reactivity in children, sexual perpetration by children and adolescents, parent coaching, divorce and blended family needs, adjustment matters, co-dependence, family of origin and personal growth.  Her theoretical orientation is eclectic with a cognitive behavioral, solution focused approach. She is trained in Part 1 of EMDR.  She is available to facilitate workshops and presentations on a variety of mental health topics.

APPOINTMENTS:  For your first appointment please arrrive fifteen minutes early in order to complete registration forms.  Please remember to bring your insurance cards and any other pertinent documents.

CANCELLATIONS:  If it is necessary to cancel an appointment, plese notify Whispering Pines Counseling, LLC, 24 hours in advance of yor scheduled appointment.  This enables you and other clients to be better served.

OFFICE HOURS:  The business is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. -- 5 p.m.  Appointments can be made for other times as needed.
